Alexandra Bailey, FNP-BC

Alexandra is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in family practice. She completed her education through Oakland University, Beaumont, DMC and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Alexandra began her career working surgical intensive care at DMC. This experience highlighted the importance of personalized comprehensive preventative care.  She realized that early intervention through nutrition, exercise, and nutrient supplementation are key for a healthy future and prevention of chronic disease. During her graduate school education, she was given the opportunity to work with Lauren Ross at Longevity Health and fell in love with functional medicine. After graduation Alexandra completed a fellowship with Dr. Lewerenz and joined the practice. Alexandra feels extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Lewerenz at Longevity Health because his practice philosophy for wellness and prevention is such an important service to our community.  Alexandra is passionate about health and nutrition. She is a certified yoga instructor and a volunteer for Make-a-wish Michigan. She lives in Royal Oak with her husband (Brad), Beagle mix (Jay), cat (Pandapple), and a 22-year-old turtle named Icarus. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, dance and traveling to new places. If you need a recommendation for a good hike in the area or at any of our National Parks, be sure to ask.  Alexandra looks forward to meeting you in the office for your next visit!
