“The new data and update from the American Cancer Society shows that women are NOT more likely to die after using hormone replacement therapy”
– Dr. Lichteufield
The deputy chief medical officer for the American Cancer Society stated, “Women on hormone therapy may NOT be more likely to die from cancer or heart disease because doctors have improved in treating these diseases”. The trial study was published in Sept. 2017 of the Journal of the American Medical Association that seemed to clearly state the pros and cons of Hormone Replacement Therapy and that it should be an individual case by case consideration.
“Personally, in my clinical experience over 20 years and seeing roughly 4,000-5,000 patients per year if hormone replacement is done in a personalized way the benefits outweigh any risk. My patients are treated as a whole and we optimize everyone’s immunity for the best success and best quality of life”
